Chicago Bears have officially lost their top receiver. Alshon Jeffery has agreed to sign with the Eagles. The deal is for one year and $14 million. Alshon had 52 catches for 821 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games in 2016. Bears decided against using the franchise tag for the second straight year on Jeffery, allowing him to test the free-agent market. He was drafted by the Bears in the second round of the 2012 draft out of South Carolina. Alshon will be missed. This was a big mistake by the Bears which will haunt them. This has been a bad day for the Bears. Bears are losing players left and right.
