Chicago Blackhawks moved back into first place in the Western Conference with tonight’s win! Patrick Kane had a goal and two assists and Corey Crawford stopped 40 of 42 shots. Johnny Oduya had the second goal for the Blackawks, Artemi Panarin had the third goal, and Jonathan Toews finished it off with the fourth goal which sealed the win for the Blackhawks. Artem Anisimov suffered an apparent left leg injury at the very end of the first period. He had to be helped off the ice, and did not return. Joel Quenneville said Artem Anisimov is listed as “day-to-day” with a lower-body injury. “Not serious.” Crawford finished the game but during the second period Weber’s shot hit Crawford in the mask, knocking him flat on his back. It was a scary moment but Crawford took a moment to get back to his feet and talked with a Blackhawks trainer on the ice, and stayed in the game. Corey Crawford who is from Montreal improved to 7-0-2 lifetime against the Canadiens!!
