Recap Of Today’s Blackhawks News

Blackhawks center Artem Anisimov will miss 3 to 4 weeks with a lower-body injury. He suffered the injury last night against the Canadiens in the last seconds of the first period. The good news is it appears Anisimov will be back in time for the playoffs.  The Blackhawks signed defenseman prospect Luc Snuggeud to a three-year entry level contract. The deal doesn’t begin until next season and runs through 2019-20. Luc will report to the Rockford IceHogs in the AHL. He is 21 and was drafted by the Blackhawks in the fifth round (No. 141 overall) of the 2014 NHL draft. As a junior at Nebraska-Omaha, Luc Snuggerud had 11 goals and 20 assists in 39 games.
