Chicago Blackhawks Lose In Overtime

The Canucks defeat the Blackhawks 5-4 in overtime and snap the Blackhawks’ winning streak at five games. Ryan Hartman had a great game as he scored twice, his second tying the game with 1:03 remaining in regulation.  Blackhawks’ lead in the Western Conference is now six points. John Hayden’s attempted game-tying goal with 3:42 remaining in regulation, but Vancouver challenged for offside and won the call, nullifying the goal. Early in the third period the Canucks made it a 4-1 lead. That was it for Corey Crawford, who was pulled for Darling. Crawford gave up four goals on 10 shots. Marian Hossa scored 23rd of the season and Richard Panik scored his 20th of the season. Tough game for the Blackhawks. Chicago Blackhawks are the first Western Conference team to hit 100 points this season!
