Chicago Bulls lose 122-120 in OT to the Raptors

Toronto Raptors snapped an 11-game losing streak against the Chicago Bulls. Jimmy Butler had 37 points for the Bulls, and Rajon Rondo finished with 24. It was the Bulls first loss to Toronto since Dec. 31, 2013. With 3:58 left in the third quarter, Robin Lopez and  Serge Ibaka had words after a Jimmy Butler three-pointer. Lopez took a swipe at the basketball, knocking it out of Ibaka’s hand, and it escalated into each player throwing a haymaker in the other’s direction, having to be separated. Both were ejected, and both players are likely gonna be suspended. Bulls Nikola Mirotic and Raptors assistant coach Jamaal Magloire received offsetting technical fouls after getting into a shoving match. Raptors went on a 19-4 run over the final 6:39 of regulation aovercame a 15-point deficit to send the game into overtime, finally ending their 11-game losing streak to the Bulls in overtime, 122-120. Bulls play the Pistons tomorrow night. Another meltdown by the Bulls. It’s just so disappointing and very frustrating. This has been a very bad season for the Bulls as it looks like they won’t make the playoffs again. It is what it is.
