Much needed win for the Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls continue to make absolutely no sense. Bulls beat the Bucks, 109-94. They improves to 35-39, and are currently 1 game out of 8th spot in the East. If the Bulls were consistent this team could be dangerous. It was a great team win from the Bulls. Jimmy Butler had 14 assists which was a career high. He had 3 steals in the game and now has 130 steals this season which is a new career high. He added an efficient 20 points on 8/13 from the field. Jimmy Butler said he was fine after the game even though he was holding his left hand. He has been playing hurt for the last couple of weeks. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Jimmy Butler has ligament damage in his left hand but Jimmy has continued to play through it. People gotta start giving Jimmy Butler some credit. For a guy who claims he’s the best football player in the NBA, playing through the injuries that his playing with, and doing so with the team fighting for a playoff sport, Jimmy Butler may finally have some believers on his side.

Jimmy has been extremely effective when he is surrounded by capable shooters and cutters. Nikola Mirotic had 28 points and 8 rebounds on 11-14 shooting. It was Niko’s third straight game with at least 15 points and four threes. Rajon Rondo had an excellent game as he almost had a triple double with 18 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. Rondo scored 14 of his 18 points in the third quarter. All five starters finished the game scoring in double figures. Jimmy’s averaging 26.4 points and 10 assists over the last five games, clearly doing his best to get the Chicago Bulls into the postseason. With just eight games left in the season, The Bulls are only one game back of the Miami Heat for a playoff spot. Bulls finished the season series against the Bucks at 1-3 this season, avoiding a sweep. This Bulls season looks to be coming down to the wire. The Bulls will try to sweep the season series against Cleveland when they host the Cavaliers on Thursday.
