Chicago Bulls sweep 4-game season series from Cavs with 99-93 victory!

What a win! This Chicago Bulls team is so weird. The Bulls swept the four-game season series from the Cavaliers with a 99-93 victory Thursday night at United Center. It’s the Bulls’ 20th straight regular-season home victory on TNT. Bulls are 36-39 and are 1 game back of 8th spot in the East. Nikola Mirotic tied his season-high with 28 points for the third time in four games. Niko is the first Bull to make 6 threes in back-to-back games in franchise history. Mirotic has made 4+ threes in 4 straight games. Denzel Valentine has 12 points and Rajon Rondo had seven points and 15 assists. Bulls had 26 assists overall in another game with sharp ball movement. Robin Lopez had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Jimmy Butler left late in the second quarter after getting hit in the eye, but came back in the start of the third quarter. Jimmy Butler has played with a torn ligament in his hand and he told TNT before the third quarter that could barely see but he continued to play. It’s time to give this guy credit. Butler had 25 points (10 in the fourth quarter), 6 rebounds and 5 assists. It’s been a tough season for the Bulls but it’s always good to the Bulls beat the Cavs. The Bulls won because there was no ball holding, no iso, and they played like a team that wanted to play for each other. Nikola Mirotic is making us believe he is able to be that guy.  Dwyane Wade remained out and Cameron Payne was inactive. Cristiano Felicio was available, but did not play with his back injury. Bulls have won consecutive games since Feb. 25. Let’s keep this going. Let’s go Bulls!
