Chicago Blackhawks lose in overtime

Chicago Blackhawks lose 4-3 to the Avalanche in overtime. Blackhawks had a 3-0 lead but they couldn’t maintain it. Blackhawks three goals came from Artemi Panarin, who scored his sixth goal in his last five games, Ryan Hartman and Marcus Kruger.  Scott Darling had a busy night as he stopped 47 shots. Darling recorded a career-high 47 saves. Blackhawks were without Niklas Hjalmarsson, who was back in Chicago (he and his wife are expecting a child) and Duncan Keith, who got the night off. Blackhawks have 108 points this season which is their second-highest total in franchise history.
