Chicago Bulls beat the 76ers 102-90!

Jimmy Butler’s triple double leads the Chicago Bulls to a 102-90 win over the 76ers. Bulls improve to 39-40.  I expected the Bulls to come out and play better against the 76ers. The whole game was just ugly basketball, but the Bulls will take it. The Bulls in the first half played like crap. They led 53-47 but that’s because the 76ers are not that good. It wasn’t the prettiest half of basketball. Bulls shot 48 percent from the field and five for 10 from the three point line. The Bulls showed no energy and they played horrible transition defense. Heading into the third quarter the 76ers had 28 points in the paint. Nikola Mirotic had 11 points and four rebounds while Jimmy Butler had 10 points and five turnovers in the first half.

In the second half the Bulls played with more urgency and they played like a team that wanted to win. Bulls finished the game with eight threes, six of those came from Nikola Mirotic. Jimmy Butler had his fourth career triple double. He had 19 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Butler with another five or more assists game, his 10th in the last 11 games. Jimmy Butler had a terrific game. Nikola Mirotic finished with 22 points, 8 rebounds on eight for 11 from the field. Jerian Grant started for Rajon Rondo, who suffered a sprained right wrist in Tuesday’s loss to the Knicks. An MRI exam confirmed the sprain, and Rondo is day-to-day. Jerian Grant had a very solid game with 15 points and eight rebounds. Bobby Portis finished with a double double.  Bulls used their 21st different starting lineup tonight. It was a much needed Bulls win. The Bulls play again on Saturday at the Nets.
