Chicago Blackhawks lost Game 1 of their first-round series against the Nashville Predators 1-0 on Thursday night. Blackhawks, who won the Central Division this year with the most points in the Western Conference, are going for their fourth Stanley Cup championship in the last eight seasons. Viktor Arvidsson for Predators scored the game-winner 7 minutes, 52 seconds into the game. Blackhawks controlled most of the last two periods, but Nashville blocked several shots from the perimeter and got in the passing lanes. The Blackhawks outshot the Predators 23-9 in the final 40 minutes. Corey Crawford had 19 saves for Chicago. Rinne made 29 saves for the Predators. Game 2 is Saturday night at the United Center.
