The Chicago Cubs won their 4th game in a row, 12-8, over the Reds. Anthony Rizzo and Jason Heyward both had 3 run home runs and a grand slam from Willson Contreras. Cubs took advantage of five walks in two innings against Reds Reed, who also threw two wild pitches. Kris Bryant started a four-run second inning with a leadoff double. Cubs starter Jake Arrieta allowed six hits in the first inning, but retired 11 of the final 12 batters he faced. 4 consecutive seasons Arrieta has hit at least one triple.
