GM Gar Forman and VP John Paxson Stop Bullshitting Bulls fans

I’ve had it with the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls had their season-ending press conference on Wednesday morning with general manager Gar Forman and executive vice president John Paxson. The conference was about 42 minutes long. 42 minutes is a long time to get a good amount of information. Nope. Gar and Pax said basically nothing, they took no blame for what’s happening with the Bulls. The same GarPax Bulls conference as every other spring. Nothing ever changes with the two goons. Bulls management threw head coach Fred Hoiberg under the bus several times during the conference. Hoiberg will be the coach going into next season, although Pax did say there could be changes to Hoiberg’s coaching staff. Paxson basically has no confidence in Hoiberg. Pax didn’t even mention growth in Hoiberg. “Fred’s challenge this offseason is to find ways to be a better leader,” Paxson said. It seemed like Hoiberg still has his job because the Bulls signed him to a five-year deal and they don’t want to pay him for not coaching the team. Last year the management said that Hoiberg needed to hold players accountable which he did by benching struggling guys, but then he gets criticized on the rotation by the front office. Shame on Pax and Gar. Paxson said coach Hoiberg left town pretty quickly after the season ended Friday. Yeah I would to. Who wants to talk to two people who have no plan?

Here is what pissed me off the most. I got red when I heard this from Paxson. Pax basically mocked Jimmy Butler’s attempt to be a leader. Are you kidding me? But wait there is more. He did give credit to Jimmy for being an All-NBA player, but he did say that Jimmy is a ball stopper which doesn’t fit Hoiberg’s offense. Gar Pax you don’t fit my offense. Now get out. Hey Gar and Pax just to let you know that Jimmy Butler finished the season with career-best averages in points, rebounds, assists and steals, and also a career-high 25.1 PER, and 26.5 usage rate. But wait there is more. Both Gar and Pax wouldn’t publicly commit to Jimmy Butler as the face of the franchise despite the reporters giving both of them the opportunity to do so. Screw both of you. Jimmy Butler should be the Bulls franchise player and should not even be mentioned in trade rumors. If I was Jimmy and I was watching the press conference I would be so mad. Gar and Pax ARE you guys watching Bulls games? The guy never gives up. Jimmy continues to get better each and every season. The guy works out three times a day. The guy just wants to win. Why would you not wanna have Jimmy Butler on your team? Shame on both you.

Nikola Mirotic had a pretty bad season and John Paxson said the reason for Niko’s poor play is because he was with the Spanish national team last summer. What?? Pax had a problem that Niko played for the Spanish national team in last summer’s Olympics. Who gives a shit? What kind of excuse is that? Jimmy Butler played for the gold medal-winning Team USA before having a career high season. Derrick Rose played in the 2010 FIBA World Championships before he won the MVP in 2011. Pax you are a dumbass. Bulls anticipate that Nikola Mirotic who is a restricted free agent in July, will be back next season. Why do they want Niko back? The guy only wakes up for one month and that is March. Is Pax and Gar sober? Do they know what they are doing? I watch every Bulls game. Every freaking game. The Bulls were an absolute mess this season. Build around Jimmy Butler. Paxson basically said that he is scared to go on a full-scale rebuild. Well Mr. Paxson this is why they pay you the big bucks. Yes it’s gonna be a tough, but if you are too scared to do it then get the hell out of Chicago.

John Paxson said there was a “really good chance” they’d pick up Rajon Rondo’s $13.4 million option for next season. Pax citied Rondo’s positive influence on the team’s young players and strong performance to close out the season. Gar and Pax praised Rajon Rondo more than Jimmy Butler. Gar and Pax kept repeating what they been saying for years. It’s an absolute shame and embarrassment that Gar Forman and John Paxson still have their jobs. Unbelievable. The Chicago Bulls are my favorite team. I make sure I never miss any Bulls games. I invest my time to watch them play. Gar Forman and John Paxson invest your time to stop bullshitting Bulls fans, and to start to fix this team because us the fans deserve better.
