Chicago Bears Head Coach John Fox told the media that the team has placed center Eric Kush on the injured reserve list and is out for the season. Erick Kush tore his hamstring off the bone and will need surgery to repair it. Fox also noted that the Bears are having Cody Whitehair play backup guard with Hroniss Grasu at center. Kush has been trying to work through pain in the hamstring in one place. On Friday an examination showed a tear in another part of the hamstring. Last year Eric Kush appeared in eight games at guard for the Bears and started four. Significant loss for the Bears.
