Wide receiver Kevin White left the Bears home opener in the fourth quarter with a left shoulder injury and didn’t return. Chicago Bears head coach John Fox told reporters Monday that wide reciever Kevin White broke his left shoulder and will be going on injured reserve. Fox noted that surgery is a possibility.
“My heart goes out to him,” Bears head coach John Fox said. “He was very disappointed and discouraged in the locker room afterwards, for obvious reasons.”
If Kevin White’s season is over, he will have played in only five regular season games over his first three years in the NFL.
John Fox also told reporters Monday that running back Benny Cunningham has a high ankle sprain. Linebacker Jerrell Freeman has a concussion and also a chest-muscle injury.
